York Winery Nasik is situated far far away in a fairy land away from civilization and is surrounded by hills and cute little ducklings and other pompous little creatures. you have to take the road to Sula Wines and instead of going to Sula wines you go straight ahead, you pass sunflower and tomato farms then moving on you pass hens and chickens and lazy dogs wondering on whether God exists or not and then comes this peaceful little place called as York Winery. Now I been here a couple of times around 5 to 6 times twice for wine testing and 3 to 4 times for Wine drinking apparently and would like to give my holy humble review on the same.
As you reach York winery, the security guard probably must have told you that the parking under the shed is not for customers but for the employees only, I always wondered why because the entire space is empty every time I go there but lets forget it as the epilogue of deception and move on... So Park and go up towards the winery on the way you are met with an image of a packing room where wine and others get packed in lovely bottles... at one point of time a look on the face of a packer reminded me of the atrocities he had suffered at the hands of god and glass but I moved on to reach the room. The room consisted of a very good seating arrangement , a LCD TV some good music and a Dart board...
The staff there is extremely helpful and nice though once we heard them faking it and telling us that the kitchen is under renovation it seams it was hurting him to say Sir, we do not get enough customers on weekdays so we have our kitchen closed but I give him the benefit of the doubt.. so coming back to the politeness... The staff knows the job very well and feels the wine ( that's the best part ) . Though we ended up discussing on how Sula is putting sugar in its late harvest Chenin Blanc .. we had a nice time and they are quite helpful and even reveal some of the intimate secrets behind wine testing and wine cooling. On special request the guy even allowed us to tour the storage room and bottling room .
The wine... York winery has the best red wine Period! .. though they are new they know their job and I must say they do it with discipline and they are really good at it. I am not a big fan of their Rose and White wines..and they didn't have any desert wine out yet but Red Wine - Vin superbe . The addition of Darts provide good entertainment for people, couples, children, aunties, uncles, bhehanjis, bhaiyas, saiyyas and all those predeclared manufactured , pre carved brained people that Life is beautiful and they are worth it ! The snacks are good they serve Olive Oil with Tabasco sauce and bread sticks ( I love bread sticks) and they have some very good collection of sandwiches ummm... sandwiches...! '

It seams Paypal has been reversing transactions and banned gifts for Indian accounts.. The message boards are abuzz and people are blaming paypal and its policies. I will tell you why It really happened.
I been doing outsourcing some time and I buy advertising slots across blogs.Every time I buy an advertisement from an Indian he prompts me to send money through a gift to save money. I completely dont do that because its a service money not a gift.. But I am pretty sure many of the indians who are reading me here have done that and they thought Paypal is a idiot corporation?
No you idiots you are.. have some basic sense and some moral ethics. You are working and you want paypal to serve you for free.. DUh! .. I sometimes try to find out the sense in the logic of preposterous..

This is what preposterous thought came into my mind when I saw one man mercilessly beating his wife on the shores of Ganpati Pule because she went into the water for a swim. The man was around 50 and so be her age but the treatment which was granted to the lady was of utmost disrespect and a spit on all the women in India and world above
So why is India the helm of women harassment while it glorifies the its creation of being a republican country ? .. Isn't that a stereotype yet to be defined and put forth . Its the same of such a glorious country now I am not the guy who will go in and give examples of women like Indira Gandhi or Savitri Bai Phule , I am not even sure if the current generation even understands their contribution to making their girlfriends, wives and sisters liberal and free. In a society where men are munter hunters I recall the example of a women who stands tall and tells their fellow sisters to shine. I am talking about Indira Nooyi the CEO of Pepsi co , the young girl from India who completed her masters at Yale and and wore a Sari to her interview and got selected . She was proud of what she was...
If the title of this topic strikes u on the right chord of your conscience centric guitar all I ask is to stand up and see what the future your kids and women might have if we let this oppression go ahead further.
