Money? Does it really matter?

Once upon a time, in a small city, there lived a man who dreamed big. A pent-house, fifteen cars, fame, recognition, he wanted it all. He hadn't been an academically brilliant child, but he was street-smart, and knew how to get things done as he wanted. He felt his family to be his responsibility, and often sold his things to meet the needs of his parents.

He knew he could achieve all he wanted. However, he faced discouragement and criticism at almost every point of his life, and there were few things which boosted his self esteem. Eventually, he lost confidence and decided to take life as it comes, without hoping much.

One day, he met a girl who believed in him.

When he felt low, it was her who told him he could do it. When he felt upset, she hugged him and told him it will be all right. She showered him with love and affection and gifts and encouragement.

Gradually, he began to gain confidence in himself. He started studying more, and began to trust himself. He felt thankful to her and achieved more than he had thought. But he couldnt keep in touch with her regularly since he had become busy over a period of time.

Slowly, the girl began to feel possessive about him. Since he used to be busy all the time, it resulted in conflicts between the two. One day, the guy felt he could take it no more. He went to her and told her that in his life there are many things he has to do, and keeping a committment will just be too much for him. He told her that his dreams matter to him a lot right now, and achieving them is his first priority.

She felt broken. But she respected his dreams, so she left him alone and let him carry on with his life.

The man went abroad for business. One day, his biggest deal succeeded and he took over a huge company. He had all he had dreamed of - a company, a pent-house, many cars, everything.

He was overwhelmed. He wanted to tell someone, to celeberate with someone. So he took out his cellphone and went into the contacts option.

He called his old friends, but they were busy with their lives. His enthusiasm dropping, he was scrolling down the list, when he saw the name of the girl who had left him ten years ago. On an impulse, he called her. A male voice attended and said she is sleeping.

He felt alone. He needed someone to be with him to hear about his success, to tell him that they knew he could do it, but there was no one. He had been in too much of a hurry to achieve, and when he had achieved, he had no one to tell.

Today he felt low, but there was no one to hug him and tell him it will be all right. Today he needed love and support, but he had left it so long ago that it would never come back to him. Today he felt that all he had achieved could have waited, waited for the things in life which have more value than a house or a car.

It's not what you have that matters. In the end, it is WHO u have. Realise it before it is too late.
